山形県の静かな土地で、草木染の手織物を制作しています。一部の染料は、自分の畑で育てた植物からいただいています。現在はEtsyにて、ネットショップを開いており、主に手染めの草木染シルクマフラーを販売しています。

🌿わたしについて🌿

子供のころから着物に親しみがあり、大学では織物と染色を学びました。自然の色に寄り添いながら、できるだけ環境に負担をかけないものづくりを心がけています。藍や紅花、その他の植物由来の染料を使い、素材もなるべく化学処理の少ないものを選んでいます。 これまでに制作したものは、着物、ネクタイ、バッグ、マフラー、手ぬぐい、敷物など――大小さまざまです。作品の一部はPinterestに写真を載せています。Etsyの商品ページに並ぶ作品の制作過程も、こちらのブログで少しずつご紹介していきます。新しい作品のご案内も、どうぞお楽しみに。

今後は、自家栽培の染料の種類を増やし、将来的には糸も染料もすべて自分の畑から生まれた手織物を作りたいと考えています。自然のやさしさと、手仕事の温もりが伝わるような作品づくりを目指しています。まだまだ不慣れなことも多いですが、どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。静かな色と、やさしい手触りが、あなたの暮らしにそっと寄り添えますように。

🌿A Greeting from My Natural Dye Weaving Studio🌿

Hello. I create handwoven textiles using plant-based dyes in the quiet countryside of Yamagata, Japan. Some of the dye plants are grown in my own garden. I currently run an online shop on Etsy, where I mainly offer hand-dyed silk scarves colored with natural plant dyes.

🌿About Me🌿

Since childhood, I’ve felt a deep connection to kimono, the traditional Japanese garment. I studied weaving and dyeing at university, and have always tried to create with care for the environment. I use natural dyes such as Japanese indigo and safflower, and choose materials that are as untreated and chemical-free as possible. Over the years, I’ve created a variety of items—from kimono and neckties to bags, scarves, hand towels, and woven mats. Some of my works are shared on Pinterest. On this blog, I’ll also be posting updates about the making process behind the items listed on Etsy, as well as news about new creations. I hope you’ll enjoy following along.

🌿Looking Ahead🌿

In the future, I hope to grow more varieties of dye plants, and eventually create handwoven textiles using both yarn and dyes entirely from my own garden. My aim is to craft pieces that carry the gentle warmth of nature and handmade work. I’m still learning, and there’s much I don’t know—but thank you for being here.
